Configurable Model Calculator
The Configurable Model Calculator API enables companies to connect a software application to a life cycle assessment (LCA) model. Using this API you can specify parameters for the LCA model and build material inputs for products. These are then used for calculating the LCA results of a specified product or product portfolio. This allows the organization to create a solution in which they can input parameters and specify products, and get specified environmental impact results back to display in their system.
Organizations can, therefore, integrate environmental metrics with their own systems. It uses LCA models as a foundation for scaling the number of products that can be assessed and provides full transparency of what is being calculated.
How does it work?
1. Create configurable model
Create a configurable model in the SimaPro Synergy platform.
2. Configure and send request
After reviewing the documentation, you are ready to set up the request and send it.
3. Display results
Once the response returns, you can integrate the results in your system.
